Powell River Chorus 2008-2009
Powell River, located on the Upper Sunshine of BC (Map), is called the Pearl of the Sunshine Coast with good reason. The region is a favourite destination for thousands of visitors each year who have discovered the beauty and recreational opportunities of Powell River along with the magic that comes from the warmth of the people who live here.
Powell River can be reached by ferry either from Horseshoe Bay on the Vancouver Mainland
or from Comox on Vancouver Island
(ferry schedules). There is also an airport with
four scheduled flights per day from Vancouver by Pacific Coastal Airlines.
